It’s been a busybusybusy week! Visited my fam for a short weekend, during which we celebrated my Mom’s birthday, decorated the tree (which is practically sacrilegious before the first weekend of December!) and had Thanksgiving dinner. Whew! That’s a lot of holiday traditions in the span of 48 hours! But it was great to be a part of those traditions, even when I’m married and living 5 hours away. And the food is always a perk
Then it was back home for another round of doctor appointments (Some day it will be unusual for me to go the doctor. That is my goal for feeling and being normal once more!). That was Monday and Tuesday.
Thennnn it was Wednesday and I was extremely productive. I love those days! When you’re up & at ’em and you cross everything off your To-Do List.
~Put up Fall decorations
~ Rearrange attic (you can actually walk around now! Unfortunately, I’m not exaggerating)
~ Sweep porch (many trees = many leaves)
~ Bring load of clothes/appliances to Palmer Home
~ Decorate for Christmas (more on that later!)
~ Organize meds
~ four loads of laundry
~ dinner with friends, the newest married couple I know!
And now, it’s Thanksgiving! Sam and I are sitting on the couch watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and will be driving over to be with his family in just a few hours for another Thanksgiving meal! Yumm!
Although there are no decorations or special music, Thanksgiving is still my favorite holiday. I just love seeing family and eating special food and staying home from work! And that is what I’m thankful for today.
