Mom gave me a carton of blueberries, which I’ve been munching on for the past week. I love blueberries! I love them in yogurt or on top of cereal for breakfast, as an afternoon snack, or even a handful for dessert. But it is still hard for me to eat a whole tray full by myself (Sam’s not much for blueberries).
So the other night, I made a family friend’s fruit crisp recipe and it was SO GOOOOD! There are literally three ingredients + fruit. So simple, so perfect, and it works for any fresh fruit you have on hand!
Peggy’s Fruit Crisp
~1 stick butter
~ 1 cup flour
~ 1 cup sugar
1. Prepare: Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Use the stick of butter to grease your baking dish (any size will do, depending on how much fruit you want to use).
2. Lay down a layer of fruit in your baking dish.
3. Make the topping by mixing the three ingredients together in a bowl until crumbly. Layer on top of the fruit.
4. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until top is golden brown and fruit is bubbling.
Sooo (deliciously) simple!
