Seeds of Love

Last year, I found so many great valentine ideas from Disney’s Family Fun website that I checked it out again this year.  I found a cute idea for “Plant One on Me” valentines, so I bought some seed packets from the grocery store, got out the construction paper, and got started.

Fold a rectangle in half, and draw a pot with the bottom on the fold.  Can’t get any easier than that!

You can add decorations to the pot–I cut out some hearts from a paper doily–or add a message to the seed packet.

I looked up seed quotes online and found a few gems:

“Love is the seed of all hope.” ~Gloria Gaither

“Happiness held is the seed; happiness shared is the flower.” ~Anonymous

“This very moment is a seed from which the flowers of tomorrow’s happiness grow.” ~Margaret Lindsey

Or you can always go with a growing your love/friendship theme 🙂

This valentine was super easy to make, and instead of candy, your valentine can grow a flower!

Stay tuned this week for more valentines!
