I’m travelling today – we’ve been visiting family at the beach and we’re flying back to San Fran today. I’m sad to say goodbye and not looking forward to catching up at work tomorrow… but at least the cats are waiting at home for us. Not only has it been great hanging out with Sam’s family for a few days, it’s also been nice not worrying about the blog (hooray for scheduling posts ahead of time!). So today, I don’t have any fashion diaries to share… but next week will be a double feature!
Instead… I thought I’d share a few pics of the latest version of my nautical wall! Who knew it would be rearranged so many times… hopefully you’re not tired of hearing about it yet! For a quick recap, below is a quick picture of each arrangement.
First, I found a bunch of awesome prints on Etsy.
Then, I won a free print from Kate Thomas’s Little Things Studio.
Next, I made a nautical mini quilt.
Then I made two more!
But I still had two empty spaces.
I filled one space quite unexpectedly, when my parents gave us this gorgeous glass seascape hanging. I love the different textures used – I want to learn how to make one!
I found two trinkets online that I love too – a seahorse hook and an anchor medallion. I found a quick DIY method for making braided rope (blog post here) and hung them up to complete the picture.
Whew! This will probably be the final arrangement for a while… I think!
I hope you’re having a great Wednesday, see you soon!
its a lovely arrangement you’ve got there, travel safely
