High Five for Friday!

High Five for Friday – the highlights of my week, five to be exact!  I love the idea of focusing on five little things that made me happy during the week… definitely a fun way to recap the week and  and stay grateful!

1 – Mini Frames.  I printed a few photos from our summer travels last weekend and hung them up on the clothesline photo gallery… I love seeing a few new faces to make me smile as I walk by every day.  I also found some cute mini frames on clearance at Walgreens, and I tucked some favorite pics inside.  This red frame came to work with me, and I love glancing over at my family from time to time each day!

2 – Mini Ice Cream Cone.  Another mini!  My latest indulgence from Trader Joe’s… the perfect dipped cone… and $2.50 for 8 cones is pretty nice too!

3 – Divergent.  Something about the summer makes me want to start reading YA dystopian series… so I started Divergent, by Veronica Roth.  There’s a movie in the works, so I want to read the books first, of course!

4 – Royal Baby.  I wouldn’t say I’m obsessed, but I do love the Royal family.  The girls at my office were all on Baby Watch to discover the gender and Kate’s first appearance after the baby was born, and then again to find out his name.  Welcome to the world, HRH Prince George Alexander Louis!

5 – Olloclip. My parents gave me the olloclip lens for my birthday – it’s an iPhone accessory that you can attach to the phone camera for different lens options.  Even though I’ve had it for a couple months now, I’m finally getting around to playing with it more.  Last weekend I went for a walk around the neighborhood, and it was just nice to get out of the house and do something fun by myself.  Sometimes I forget that I need creative time, even if it serves no other purpose than my own enjoyment.

I’m linking up with Lauren Elizabeth for H54F!
