High Five for Friday!

High Five for Friday!  I’m sharing the highlights of my week… five to be exact!  I love the idea of focusing on five little things that made me happy… definitely a fun way to recap the week and  and stay grateful!

1 – Park Picnic.  On Memorial Day, we picked up some supplies at a nearby market and headed to Lafayette Park for a picnic lunch.  The park has been renovated recently, and the finished product is really beautiful – definitely my new favorite spot for a sunny day!

2 – Naptime with Cora.  The best part about Memorial Day was the time to relax a bit and actually take a nap. Cora fell asleep with her leg stretched over mine.  That’s about as close to cuddly as she gets!

3 – Hiking Mount Sutro.  Maybe “Mount” is a bit misleading, because it’s really one of the famous seven hills of San Francisco and nowhere close to being a mountain.  The easy trails are exactly our speed, and the fog was magnificent.  Mostly, it was just nice to spend some time wandering in a forest, oblivious to the bustling city surrounding us.

4 – Warm Weather.  The weather has been absolutely perfect recently – warm and sunny and breezy, not too cold and definitely not rainy.  The other side of the warm weather coin is that we’ve had to haul out the fans at night, but so far we’ve survived.  Whenever it’s too hot inside, stepping outside for some fresh air is a quick fix!

5 – Casual Week.  Woohoo for a four day work week!  Casual dress and jeans were an extra bonus.

I’m linking up with Lauren Elizabeth for H54F!
