Once Upon a Time Cross Stitch Sampler: January

I’m doing the Once Upon a Time cross stitch sampler from Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery.  Each month is a different fairy tale, and it’s so fun to find out what fairy tale will be revealed next!

January was Snow White, doing some laundry with the dwarves!  The dividers and border were also included in the first download, but I think I’ll work on the border as I go each month.

Below are a few progress pics!

The first couple stitches… and the Harry Potter movie marathon!

The dividers for all twelve months completed:

The Golden Globes were a great background for more stitching!

The little dwarves are so cute!  Love their beards…

Almost complete… forgot to add Snow White’s smile!

Tada!  January is all done!

February will be revealed in a couple days… I can’t wait to get started!  I’ll try to keep up each month, so stay tuned…

  1. This is so cute! I have stitched January too 🙂 I’m going to work on my border as I go too, I have so many projects that I am working on at the moment, I feel guilty stitching it all at once!

  2. What is it you have on your stitching: the little pebble-shaped contraption with the flower on it? I’m guessing it’s a magnet because you have your needle on it. Where did you get it? I’m always having to warn people about the floor around where I stitch because I drop and lose needles so often.

    1. One warning: it’s addictive! There are lots of easy kits to start with that include all the materials, which might be less daunting than buying the fabric and floss separately. I like 123stitch.com online, and of course I’m obsessed with Frosted Pumpkin’s patterns 🙂 have fun!
