High Five for Friday!

High Five for Friday!

I’m sharing the highlights of my week… five to be exact!  I love the idea of focusing on five little things that made me happy… definitely a fun way to recap the week and  and stay grateful.

1 – Pomegranates.  My favorite winter snack is back!  Pomegranate seeds and plain greek yogurt is my very favorite.

2 – Pilates.  I’m really, really trying to get back into working out regularly.  It’s amazing how easy it is to slip back into couch potato status after a few weeks “off” from exercising.  So I signed up for a Pilates class this week and really enjoyed it – plus I went to sleep so much more easily!

3 – BFF in state.  Boo because I didn’t actually get to see my friend Sarah while she was here, but it was cool being in the same zip code again however briefly!

4 – Makeup Wars.  So you know how a couple weeks ago I was crowing about my new favorite foundation from Estee Lauder?  Well… I forgot how much I hate liquid foundations and the inevitable mess.  I was pretty disappointed that I splurged on something that was so annoying to use every day but coincidentally, another of my favorite bloggers (Kerry at Welcome to Ladyville) mentioned her favorite drugstore foundation is CoverGirl Aquasmooth… so I picked some up the next time I was at Walgreens and… I love it!    Pros: cream foundation that works year-round, includes a sponge and compact mirror, easy application, no mess, SPF, I don’t have to go out of my way to find it… and it’s so much cheaper than the department store!  I always worry about finding the right shade, but both the color and coverage is great!  I waited two weeks just to make sure I really do like it before mentioning it… I am really, really pleased!

5 – Waterlogue app.  The new Waterlogue app turns pics into watercolors and I love it! Endless entertainment.

I’m linking up with Lauren Elizabeth for H54F!
