Project Pinterest: Sign Language Valentines

I’m skipping WIWW this week to share another Valentine!  Never fear, next week will be a double edition 🙂

This adorable sign language valentine was too cute to pass up!

Sign Language Valentines

Time: 5-10 minutes tops

Cost: Free – you probably have everything on hand

Supplies: White computer paper, construction paper or card stock, scissors, glue stick, optional: heart stickers

Instructions:

Trace your hand on the white computer paper, and cut out.

Cut out squares from the construction paper (big enough to fit the hand and a message – mine were about 6” x 8”).

Glue the palm onto the paper square, and fold the middle and ring fingers gently onto the palm to form the “I love you” in sign language.  Glue the finger tips in place.

Write a message at the bottom or on the palm.  I wrote “I love you”  or you could go with “A ‘sign’ of my love for you!”  Super easy!

I had so much fun whipping these out one afternoon!

In the meantime, I’ve done a little V-Day stitching… here’s a sneak peek!  I’ll share the rest tomorrow on Valentine’s Eve 🙂
