High Five for Friday!

High Five for Friday!

I’m sharing the highlights of my week… five to be exact!  I love the idea of focusing on five little things that made me happy… definitely a fun way to recap the week and  and stay grateful.

1 – Olympics.  We’ve had the Olympics coverage on non-stop and it’s been so much fun to watch.  There’s so many bizarre sports out there that I’ve never heard of… and of course I love all the inspiring personal stories of the athletes.  Even Cora loves the Olympics!

2 – Lego Movie.  Instead of being responsible adults, we went to see the Lego movie on Monday night… loved it!

3 – Love banner.  I entered a contest on Instagram and won this adorable banner from @Sewkellysews!  It’s perfect since I don’t have any other decorations up for V Day.  Kelly is a fellow blogger and also a brand new mother (of four)… I don’t see how she has the time to craft all that she does!

4 – Valentine stitching.  Speaking of V Day… I stitched this little owl couple a few weeks ago and mailed it to my parents.  They finally received it so it’s safe to blog about it, yay!  It was super quick to stitch and a fun valentine that can stay out year round (from Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery of course)!

5 – V Day.  Happy Valentine’s Day!  I found these vintage valentines in an antiques store and had to buy them for Sam.  Admittedly, this is one of those gifts that I probably enjoy giving more than he enjoys receiving… teehee!

I’m linking up with Lauren Elizabeth for H54F!
