High Five for Friday!

High Five for Friday!

I’m sharing the highlights of my week… five to be exact!  I love the idea of focusing on five little things that made me happy… definitely a fun way to recap the week and  and stay grateful.

1 – One last look.  We moved out exactly one week ago and now that we’re in house-hunting limbo, I definitely miss our snug little apartment in Nob Hill.  I tried to soak up the last few glimpses of our old life before leaving, including a few pics – it’s so easy to get caught up in the hubbub of logistics during the moving process that I’m not sure I’ve actually succeeded in saying goodbye yet.

2 – Nashville.  We’re here!  I don’t feel very settled at all yet, but I’m looking forward to exploring Nashville and the surrounding area once we find our feet.

3 – Ice Day.  At the time, I was not pleased at all that we were stuck inside due to icy conditions.  I guess I’ll have to get used to bad weather days all over again, especially this winter!  Even though our progress felt delayed, the silver lining was a day to catch our breath before launching into the To-Do list.

4 – OUAT March.  I packed my Once Upon a Time sampler supplies in my suitcase, and I’m so glad I did!  It’s been a nice reprieve during lulls in apartment hunting.

5 – Apartment Hunting.  I daydreamed a lot about apartment hunting before we moved, but of course it’s not quite as fun in reality!  HGTV, it isn’t… But it’s still fun to peek into so many different kinds of places.  I think we may have come to a decision… crossing my fingers we’ll be signing on the dotted line soon!!

An honorary #6 is seeing my parents today!!  They’re helping us car shop this weekend, which is a huge help.   Plus, having them so much closer is exactly why we moved in the first place!

I’m linking up with Lauren Elizabeth for H54F!
