High Five for Friday!

High Five for Friday!

I’m sharing the highlights of my week… five to be exact!  I love the idea of focusing on five little things that made me happy… definitely a fun way to recap the week and  and stay grateful.

1 – Parents (again).  My parents came up last weekend for my first infusion, and it was great to see them again so soon.  We originally planned on doing paperwork for our new car on Saturday, but we ended up doing so a little earlier… which meant we had a free day together to explore Nashville!

2 – Nashville.  We’ve barely scratched the surface of things to do in Nashville, but the glimpse we’ve had is pretty cool!  The iconic downtown area is fun for sightseeing, and I’m looking forward to getting a feel for the neighborhoods and community too.

3 – Boxes.  All our stuff arrived on the moving truck this week – woohoo!  The boxes have felt overwhelming at times, but I’ve gotten a pretty good hold on them after a week.  The last box was broken down yesterday – now I just have to find a place for it all!

4 – Patio Time.  My parents gifted us a patio set for our screened-in porch, and I’ve really enjoyed a bit of quiet time out there each morning – especially before our furniture arrived and there was nowhere else to sit!  Breakfast with a book is just about perfect.

5 – Color Order.  Once we finally decided where everything should go, including the bookcases, I decided to have some fun organizing the books by color.  It worked out pretty well – everything fit, and I was happy to find that I have books in every color of the rainbow!  Now I love walking past it every day, and hopefully I’ll be able to locate what I’m looking for when I need a particular book… ha!

I’m linking up with Lauren Elizabeth for H54F!
