Franklin City Sights: Puckett’s Boat House

I’m squeezing in a city sights from a couple weeks ago when my parents were here.  We ate at Puckett’s Boat House in downtown Franklin for lunch, and liked it so much that we made reservations to return the next night for dinner and live music.  We all enjoyed the classic Southern food and a really cool atmosphere.

On our first visit, I had already eaten lunch so of course I had pie… the key lime was so good!  You could tell the whipped cream was homemade and the crust was decadent – I couldn’t even finish the whole piece.

Dinner was even better, especially with some live music in the background.  Best coconut shrimp I’ve had in a long time!

Great night, fun times!  And of course it was great to spend time with my parents once again – my favorite part of moving closer to home!

More city sights coming soon as we explore the Nashville area!
