Franklin City Sights: Farmer’s Market

I’m squeezing in another city sights this week, hope you don’t mind!  We visited the Franklin farmer’s market for the first time this past weekend on a rainy Saturday.  Below are a couple pictures from our first visit – I’m sure we’ll be back!

The farmer’s market is held every Saturday right behind The Factory by downtown Franklin, and fortunately there’s a covered pavillion for the rain.  There were quite a few food trucks (and a juice truck!) so we were glad we hadn’t eaten beforehand!  Lots of fresh produce and handmade products like soap and crafts.

Ellie’s Old Fashioned Doughnuts were a hit with us!  We only stayed a short while due to the rain, but we came home with some fresh bread and cheese.  We’ll definitely be back most Saturdays, especially if we have visitors or company coming over.
