High Five for Friday!

High Five for Friday!

I’m sharing the highlights of my week… five to be exact!  I love the idea of focusing on five little things that made me happy… definitely a fun way to recap the week and  and stay grateful.

1 – Rodeo Parade.  I love parades!  I’m always happy to have a reason to spend some time in downtown Franklin because it’s so stinking cute, so this was a great excuse!

2 – Mother’s Day.  I love my mama every day!  I couldn’t be at home to celebrate so I had to make do with an Instagram pic… even though she doesn’t “do” social media.  This is one of my favorite pics of us… hard to believe it’s been almost 5 years!

3 – Happy birthday to Dad!  Speaking of parental holidays… I’m covering all of them in one swoop!  Dad is usually behind the camera… so this is the most recent pic I could find of us, from a couple months ago in Nashville.   The best dad around!

4 – More cross stitching.  It’s been pretty rainy the last couple days but over the weekend I was able to do some cross stitching… it’s so relaxing to soak up some sun, listen to podcasts, and hang out with the cats!

5 – Vicks inhaler.  I wasn’t feeling too hot this week, but we haven’t bought any cold medicine since moving (isn’t it weird the little things you have to restock after purging/packing/unpacking?)… but I did have an unopened package of a Vicks inhaler, and it worked like a charm!  The best part… same childhood smell without the mess!

I’m linking up with Lauren Elizabeth for H54F!
