High Five for Friday!

High Five for Friday!  Whoops!  The short week got away from me and I totally forgot that it was Friday already!  So this is a little later than usual…

I’m sharing the highlights of my week… five to be exact!  I love the idea of focusing on five little things that made me happy… definitely a fun way to recap the week and  and stay grateful.

1 – These two.  It was so much fun exploring Nashville with my brother and his gf (she does have a name, of course, but I never asked how she feels about it being shared on the internet).  It was a delightful Memorial Day weekend all around.

2 – Tenn Ren Faire! I’ve never been to a renaissance faire before, and now I want to go back every year!  It was just so interesting and different from the usual festivals.

3 – Walking the cat.  We took Cora out on the leash again!  She still hates it but when she got outside she was distracted enough that she gave up wriggling around and actually walked a bit.  Then she ate a bunch of grass and threw it all up.

4 – Goose encounter.  Walked to a different pond than usual and met another goose family.  They got thiiiiis close before some dogs scared them away… I think they’re used to people feeding them, so we’ll have to go back with some bread next time.

5 – Lunch time.  I only have 30 minutes to eat lunch, which has been a struggle for this slow eater.  But on the days that I actually bring my lunch, it’s so nice to just sit for a moment outside.

I’m linking up with Lauren Elizabeth for H54F!
