High Five for Friday!

High Five for Friday!

I’m sharing the highlights of my week… five to be exact!  I love the idea of focusing on five little things that made me happy… definitely a fun way to recap the week and  and stay grateful.

1 – Parents. Both my parents drove up for the weekend to go with me to another infusion, and it was so nice to have them around. Their visit was jam-packed with adventures, but mostly it was just fun to hang out with them again!

2 – Lake Radnor. My favorite place we visited while my parents were here was Lake Radnor – I’ve never seen so many wild animals up close!  There were baby fawns, guinea fowl and babies, plenty of deer, and lots of birds to watch.  The cloudy day was perfect for exploring and I can’t wait to visit again… I bet autumn would be beautiful!

3 – Thumbelina. I’ve been working steadily on the July block for the Once Upon a Time cross stitch sampler, and I love stitching little Thumbelina in her walnut boat!  Hopefully I’ll finish up before August, it’s been a busy month!

4 – Project Runway. It’s finally back!  My very favorite show… and this season already looks like a good one!

5 –  Jamberry.  I got invited to one of those Jamberry parties on Facebook and got a free sample… they’re nail wraps that last a lot longer than regular polish and don’t damage your nails like gel or acrylics.  They were actually pretty easy to apply & there are lots of fun designs… oops, I might’ve gotten hooked!

I’m linking up with Lauren Elizabeth for H54F!
