High Five for Friday!

High Five for Friday!

I’m sharing the highlights of my week… five to be exact!  I love the idea of focusing on five little things that made me happy… definitely a fun way to recap the week and  and stay grateful.

1 – West Wedding. It was so much fun to join our family friends in AL for the wedding of their youngest son this past weekend. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was a blast!

2 – Family.  Definitely a highlight to hang out with my family again for a few days- I think this is the first time we’ve all been in the same place at the same time. (Wrangling all significant others at the same event has never occurred until this weekend!)

3 – Unpacked. The kitties sure are glad the suitcase is unpacked, and I have to agree.  We’ve been hosting and visiting the last couple weekends and as much fun as it’s been, I’m also looking forward to a quiet weekend at home.

4 – Once Upon a Time (again!). I finished the July block for the OUAT Sampler with a couple days to spare before the August block was revealed. It’s been so much fun to have an ongoing project throughout the year, and it’s been a unique way of marking time as the months pass.

5 –  Peter and the Starcatchers. I’ve been listening to this audiobook over the past couple weekends and finished it up this week.  (Narrated by Jim Dale – I thought his voices were even better in this book than the HP series!) I love remixed fairy tales, and Peter Pan is one of my favorites, so this origin adventure story was just my cup of tea.

I’m linking up with Lauren Elizabeth for H54F!
