Franklin City Sights: Walking

It’s hard to believe we’ve been here in Franklin almost 6 months now!  I haven’t joined a gym yet, but I’ve been walking a little 2.5-mile loop pretty regularly.  I started out walking when I was job hunting, leaving every morning after dropping hubby off at work, then continued on the weekends after I started my new position.  For a couple months I was motivated to wake up every morning before work to walk, although our recent trips have thrown me off course a bit.  I’m trying to get re-motivated again… so I put together this post to remind my of my very favorite part about walking around here: the Canadian geese and other fowl living on a couple nearby ponds!
My favorite geese family built a nest in March, hatched six babies in April, and adopted a duck!  The duckling hung out with them before the goslings hatched, and still swims and eats with them even now.
