High Five for Friday!
I’m sharing the highlights of my week… five to be exact! I love the idea of focusing on five little things that made me happy… definitely a fun way to recap the week and and stay grateful.
1 – Opryland. We spent a night at Opryland courtesy of my company, and it was such a fun “stay cation!” It was great to get a way from the real world for a bit without having to drive for hours.
2 – Titans game. I’m not a huge football fan, but we couldn’t refuse free tickets and a skybox! Another perk from my job.. fun stuff!
3 – Double Fold Binding Bias Tape. I tried out pre-made double fold binding for the first time, and it’s a huge timesaver! It was awesome to finish up that last step on a couple quilts in record time.
4 – Flying North. I finished up my latest quilt and really like it a lot… so much that I had to display it above the couch immediately. I’ve been fascinated with flying geese lately so it was fun to play around with them.
5 – Long Weekend. This one is actually a combo of two things I’m looking forward to for the holiday: my parents are driving down this morning for a visit (yay!) and an infusion (boo!), and later this weekend we’re road tripping to the Dismals in AL for a day trip. Cheers to a long weekend!
I’m linking up with Lauren Elizabeth for H54F!
