Another week of What I Wore Wednesday!

The Amateur Librarian // What I Wore Wednesday

What I Wore Wednesday is my motivation for wearing the clothes I own, finding new ways to mix and match outfits, and not wearing the same three things all the time! I kept a fashion diary for the entire year of 2012, in 2013 I added a bit about my days to go along with the outfit, and I’m continuing the same tradition in 2014… So these weekly check-ins are a mini journal of my life too!

What started out as a quick trip to the library turned into brunch on Main Street (after finding out the library didn’t open until 1 PM)… of course I didn’t mind that turn of events!  Grey’s in downtown Franklin is yummo… as was my quiche in its own little frying pan. The rest of the afternoon was spent slicing… and dicing… and cutting some more to catch up on Week 1 of the Fair Isle SAL. I also caught up on all my favorite podcasts – I need to find some more!

black dolman sleeve cardigan // Ann Taylor outlet

Monday again, too quickly. Long day at work, and a date with the treadmill afterward.

red tunic // Reed’s
nude cami underneath // Old Navy
rose gold necklace // Charming Charlie
black skinny pants // Gap
black flats // gift
Another Tuesday, with a doctor appointment in the afternoon. No matter how good I’m feeling and doing health-wise, I always get into a bit of a funk afterwards.  I guess it’s easy to forget about my health problems day-to-day, but seeing the doctor always thumps me right back down. Dinner out at a new (to us) place and Sweet CeCe’s froyo helped my mood…
October 29
October 29
sheer print top // Belk
black pants // Banana Republic
black leather flats // gift
Hump Day! Pretty normal day in the life, with another visit to the gym after work. I have to say, I am starting to enjoy the treadmill! It’s a lot easier to add jogging/running when the pace is regulated, compared to running outside.

geometric print dress // Deep South Pout
tassel necklace // Charming Charlie
black dolman cardigan // Ann Taylor outlet
black tights (not pictured) // Gap
nude flats // PayLess
I didn’t last two minutes with bare legs… I got halfway to the car and turned right back around to put on some tights! Another busy work day, another work out at the gym, another Project Runway episode (the All Stars premiere!)

polka dot chambray button up // Old Navy
olive green skinny pants // Gap
brown ankle strap wedges // PayLess
red scarf // scrap
Happy Halloween, from Rosie the Riveter! Gotta love super easy costumes… and since no one else in the office really dressed up (party poppers), it was also super easy to take off the scarf and poof – costume gone. We bought candy in the hopes of trick-or-treaters, but there weren’t any takers in our complex, so it was a pretty quiet Halloween this year.
Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween!

floral print top // Kohl’s
skinny jeans // Old Navy via eBay
blue-tipped flats // gift

Saturday! Slept in a bit, got some cleaning & errands done, then spent most of the day with the sewing machine to start Week 2 off the Fair Isle SAL. Hubby hung out with me and we listened to a ton of podcasts before taking a break for dinner & the MSU game.

I’m linked up to The Pleated Poppy for WIWW!
