WIWW: November 9-15, 2014

Another week of What I Wore Wednesday!

The Amateur Librarian // What I Wore Wednesday

What I Wore Wednesday is my motivation for wearing the clothes I own, finding new ways to mix and match outfits, and not wearing the same three things all the time! I kept a fashion diary for the entire year of 2012, in 2013 I added a bit about my days to go along with the outfit, and I’m continuing the same tradition in 2014… So these weekly check-ins are a mini journal of my life too!

ombre striped tunic // Gap
fleece-lined leggings // Deep South Pout
brown boots // Deep South Pout
Fleece-lined leggings are the best! Spent some time with the sewing machine and my cross stitching with a marathon of Orange is the New Black, then fit in a library visit (can’t resist a library sale!) and the grocery store before wrapping up the weekend.

chevron top // Charming Charlie
quatrefoil necklace // GroopDealz
black pants // Ann Taylor
red t-strap wedges // PayLess
Another pair of identical black pants that somehow ended up in the back of the closet. Wool usually isn’t the best for Southern weather, but it’s starting to get cold enough to justify. Busy work day, followed by gym time afterward.

navy lace dress // Forever 21 via eBay
floral cardigan // Old Navy
pearl bead necklace // gift
skinny belt // Forever 21
brown boots // Deep South Pout
Same outfit formula as last week: lace dress plus cardigan plus boots. Another rainy work day, another visit to the gym.
November 12

grey sweater // Loft
floral scarf // Walgreens
black skinny pants // Loft
studded black flats // eBay
Overnight the temps dropped thirty degrees, so my winter coat came out. After work we drove to Nashville to meet up with my uncle for dinner at The Tavern in midtown. It was great to catch up with him again!

November 13
navy+gold print top // Loft
grey cardigan // Forever 21
olive green skinny pants // Gap
nude flats // PayLess
Still cold over here! I found this top on sale at Loft and even though it’s sleeveless, I think the colors are perfect for Fall with a cardigan… and you know I love pieces that can transition through multiple seasons. After work, we ran a couple errands to get ready for my parents’ visit on the weekend. We even hung up some twinkly lights on the porch – I’ve been wanting to get some ever since we moved in, and I love them!
November 14
November 14
floral+stripe top // Loft
chunky knit mustard scarf // Everyday Icing
jeggings // eBay
black boots // Belk
The jeggings are back! What can I say, they’re perfect for boots.  This scarf is on the edge of TOO chunky, but I kind of love it. After work we went to our favorite wine tasting… aka my favorite way to start the weekend!

floral print top //  Loft
bird print scarf (not pictured) // eBay
skinny jeans // Kohl’s
brown boots // Deep South Pout
We got up bright and early Saturday for a busy day. First up was an IBD Symposium hosted by CCFA, where a few of my doctors were presenting. My parents drove up and joined us for two of the sessions, which was great… and there was plenty of info to digest. For lunch we met up with my aunt and her friends who were visiting Nashville. It was so fun to see her again! The rest of the afternoon was devoted to football games… but it was a sad day for our teams, so we’ll leave it at that.  Over all, such a fun day with family!

I’m linked up to The Pleated Poppy for WIWW!
