Merry Christmas Eve’s Eve! Over the past couple weeks we took in not one, but two Christmassy sights – I love this time of year!
On Friday, we drove toward Nashville after work to see the Dancing Lights of Christmas: a mile of lights and music! It’s right by Opryland, so you just get in line and tune into the radio station. Of course pictures don’t do it justice, but I tried anyway…
As my pics started looking more and more like that last one, I put down my phone to just enjoy the music. Super cheesy and fun, just the way I like it!
Dickens of a Christmas took place a weekend ago, an annual tradition in Franklin that I’ve been waiting all year for since I first found out about it!
We strolled downtown Main Street to take in the caroling, Victorian costumes, fair food, even (fake) snow! We took a little carriage ride, so fun! We checked it out pretty early to avoid the crowds, so we missed the “town sing” but I think next year we’ll have to stick around long enough to catch it.
I’m repeating myself, I know… but I love this time of year! More city sights coming soon as we explore the Nashville area.
