High Five for Friday!
I’m sharing the highlights of my week… five to be exact! I love the idea of focusing on five little things that made me happy… definitely a fun way to recap the week and stay grateful.
1 – Woodland Creatures. I finally starting working on my new year-long sampler, and it’s super cute. Only a few days left in January so I better get stitching to stay on track!
2 – Concert. We went to a concert Wednesday night to see Jack White and Loretta Lynn, which was a nice break from a stressful work week. Their duets were the best part, it was so much fun to watch them together.
3 – Instagram Friends. I won a fun Instagram giveaway of this bundle of low volume fabrics… love them! I actually knew the lady hosting the giveaway in real life through my quilt guild, which made it even more fun! I can’t wait to make something, I’ve been wanting to try out the low volume trend for a long time.
4 – Fixer Upper. My new favorite HGTV show! I love Chip and Joanna, their rustic style, and their banter is actually fun to watch instead of annoying/staged. I’m pretty tired of most HGTV shows by now, but I just caught onto this one so it’s been fun watching reruns from the past couple seasons since they’re new to me.
5 – Lost and Found. I finally tracked down my lost passport (oops!) so I can get it renewed. I’m excited for new adventures in the next 10 years!
