City Sights: Nashville Neighborhoods

We haven’t been doing much city sight seeing lately, but Saturday was warm and sunny and I was finally feeling better after being sick, so of course we had to take advantage! We took a drive over to Nashville to check out some neighborhoods and enjoy being outside after weeks of cold weather.
Around the 12 South neighborhood, we ate lunch and did some window shopping. We couldn’t pass Jeni’s by without stopping for ice cream!

Two scoops for me – wildberry lavender and coffee with cream & sugar. Yum!

After checking out the neighborhoods around 12 South, we drove through Sylvan Park and The Nations neighborhood, then ended up in East Nashville to check out the bookstore Bookman Bookwoman.

Bookman Bookwoman is pretty cool, with long aisles, alcoves, and nooks full of used and new books.  (Of course I can never leave a bookstore empty handed.)

It was so nice to spend some time walking around outside again, especially since the temps are back in the 30s this week.  More city sights coming soon as we explore the Nashville area!
