Franklin City Sights: Arrington Winery

For our 6th anniversary last weekend, we kept it simple and low key. After checking in on the building site (Quick update: still a patch of dirt! But the model homes are progressing and we have our first meeting with the builders tomorrow.), we headed to a local winery.

Arrington Winery is the perfect place for a picnic (you can bring your own food and buy bottles of wine on site). Saturday was super hot and humid, so we sought out some shade before the wine tasting.

There are several cute swings among the trees, perfect for hanging out with some wine and cheese.

Or, you know… selfies!

For $12 each, we tasted 8 wines and the generous tastes were worth the price. (FYI, most of the wines erred on the sweet side.)  There were no winery tours on the weekends, but if we had visiting guests it would make for a fun day trip during the week.

The views don’t hurt, either!

More city sights coming soon as we explore the Nashville area!
