Happy Thanksgiving! We’re spending the holiday with my parents and LOTS of food, the best possible combo! My parents’ wedding anniversary is on Thanksgiving, so this holiday always feels extra special in our family. This year I brought a little gift to say thanks.

I had so much fun brushing up on my embroidery skills to make this hoop. It’s been a long time since I’ve done any embroidery stitches other than a simple back stitch, so this was great practice.
I follow Molly Johanson on Instagram, which is how I found out about her new (FREE) patterns via About.com – a resource I tend to forget about until I find one helpful tutorial and then promptly go down the rabbit hole of helpful links.
