This is my third year to work on a year-long cross stitch project, and the second year to play along with the mystery stitch-along month by month. Stitching Once Upon a Time in 2014 and Woodland Creatures in 2015 were both so much fun – it’s addictive!
In 2016 I’m joining the Pumpkins on an adventure around the world. The first stop was London – even though we’re halfway through February already, the center phrase took quite a while to stitch first. I love all the little details – Big Ben, the London Bridge, the fog, the double decker bus, the pink moped – so, so cute!
February’s portion (Paris!) was much smaller, so hopefully I’ll have that completed soon so I’m all caught up in time for March. Just like previous years, working on this project really makes me notice how swiftly the months pass by.

One month down, eleven to go!
So far….so adorable!

I view the pdf pattern in the Adobe Reader app so I can zoom in on the section I’m working on. It’s great – I’ll never go back to paper patterns!

I spend so much time in front of a computer screen I’m reluctant to spend more – but it looks so handy!
