Meow Monday: Spring Break

I took an unintentional blogging break last week… let’s just call it Spring Break! The weather got warm and all I wanted to do was soak up the sun. The first day of Spring yesterday was cold and rainy… go figure!

My parents are coming to visit for Easter, which is always great motivation to get some things done around the house. The main excitement was our new bed!

We graduated to a King size… and this thing is huge! Everything else in the room looks like doll furniture now. I’ve gotten used to it but we’re exchanging the box spring for a thinner one (5″ vs 9″) so hopefully that will help.

The cats approve their new napping location, although it’s a bit hard for Tali to climb up. You and me both, Tals!

With the new bed in our room, the old one got moved to the guest room.

Finally, after almost 7 years, my parents don’t have to sleep on an air mattress! I’m sure they’re relieved.

Happy Spring!

  1. You won’t regret moving to a bigger size – your sleep will be much improved. If you don’t like the HUGE duvet covers, do what the Danes do and each have a single – no draughts when the other half turns over 🙂 Despite my misgivings about this particular change, it’s been wonderful!
