Cats (and babies, hopefully) don’t care if their home is Pinterest-worthy, which is a good thing, because we still have plenty of blank walls waiting for art or furniture, and we’re keeping all the baby furniture in our master bedroom for the first few months so we don’t have an official nursery set up.
From Tali’s point of view, however, it looks just fine. So I’ll let her give you the tour!
This is where the stinky will be covered up with diapers and clean clothes.
This is where the sleeping will hopefully happen.
This cozy corner is already in use for aching backs and sleepy cats.
Of course, there’s always the bed too, which Cora prefers.
I have to admit I’m a little nervous about the cats welcoming the baby home, especially Cora, since she can be unpredictable. We’ll make sure someone brings home the baby’s scent before we leave the hospital, keep a close eye on the transition…. and hope for the best!
Everything looks great!

You finished the crib skirt – cute! And good idea about bringing home the baby scent before the baby comes home – I’m sure they’ll get comfortable with the baby in no time!
