This is my third year to work on a year-long cross stitch project, and the second year to play along with a mystery stitch-along month by month. Stitching Once Upon a Time in 2014 and Woodland Creatures in 2015 was so much fun – it’s addictive!
In 2016 I’ve joined the Frosted Pumpkins on an adventure around the world. The tenth stop was Australia, with an adorable koala bear and a massive landmark that I had to look up – Uluru (check out Wikipedia here if you want to know more!). It’s always fun to learn something new 🙂
October was a huge month life-wise with baby Amelia arriving, and I honestly didn’t think I’d be able to keep up with the SAL. But it turns out that cross stitching is great to pick up when I only have a couple minutes to myself (usually after basic hygiene is done and my awesome mama has fed me). I’m not putting any pressure on myself to finish the next two months on time, but I’ll keep you updated.
As I type, the November destination hasn’t been released yet, so I don’t know where we’re off to next… but my guess is South America, and maybe ending the year in the US. We’ll see!
A few progress pics (from bump to baby!):

Somehow we’ve made it ten months, with two to go…
Just beautifully! A family heirloom.
