I have a lot to be thankful for this year, especially this week. I’m not sure when regularly scheduled blogging will resume but for now it’s not top priority… a feeling which the cats can relate to, I’m sure. So what have they been up to?
A lot of this.
And that.
The usual!
The baby hasn’t affected their lives as much as I feared, although they might not agree. When Amelia cries, both cats are concerned but react in their own ways: Cora meows and leaves the room; Tali comes closer but eventually leaves if it doesn’t stop.
We’ve also had to institute a locked door policy as soon as it gets dark, and the cats are checked at the door before entering to avoid live rodent incidents. The nights are a lot more peaceful without the threat of rodents, dead or alive, making an appearance.
I won’t say this is the last Meow Monday ever, but as the cats continue their regular routines and Amelia keeps growing, i just don’t have as much to say about them anymore. As long as they’re living the good life, I’m sure they’ll continue showing up in the background.
Happy Monday 🙂
Aw.
