High Five for Friday!

Happy Friday!

As usual, I’m sharing the highlights of my week… five to be exact. Focusing on five little things that made me happy is my way of recapping the week and a reminder to stay grateful.

The Amateur Librarian // H54F The Amateur Librarian // H54F
1 – 3 months. We’ve made it to three months and we’re all still alive! Hitting milestones makes me realize how much Amelia has changed since her first few days with us – and how much I’ve learned since then! (Also, how cute are those crib sheets?)
2 – Baby Whisperer. I’ve been in limbo for the past two weeks waiting for my health insurance to sort out an issue. While we’ve been waiting, my mama has been cooking and cleaning and giving me the best gift of all: some time to myself – walks outside, shopping alone, lunch with a friend, dinner out with Sam, and even a movie. Amelia is now refusing to take a bottle, so Grandmom has put her baby whispering skills to the test!
3 – Snow. Technically this happened last week but I can’t let it escape H54F… Amelia’s first snow! She was not a fan, but it was still fun to show her something new. It all melted within a few days… and now it’s in the high 60s again (ugh).
4 – Infused. I won’t go into the whole long story of my health insurance saga to get my Crohn’s medication after two weeks of waiting… but I will say: Finally! I have to go to a new location but it’s closer to home so hopefully it’s a good change in the long run. Huge weight off my shoulders to get it behind me.
5 – Amazon Prime. During the aforementioned limbo, the three amigos (Amelia, Grandmom, and me) have been binge watching shows on Amazon Prime. All three seasons of Mozart in the Jungle passed in a flash, then we moved on to Transparent, The Crown, and Indian Summers.
