Happy Friday! Once again, High Five for Friday features five highlights of the week, my way of focusing on the little things that remind me to stay grateful.
1 – Family. My aunt was in town on business and stopped by the house to meet Amelia. It was great to see her in person, and I love seeing A meet family for the first time, as she warms up to them and unleashes her smile.
2 – Move Every Day. I started walking further in our neighborhood and finally have a good daily route to walk about 2 miles. I googled to find a simple goal tracker (thanks to Gretchen Rubin, I know I need accountability and gold stars to keep up a good habit!) and this one from Say Not Sweet Anne does the trick. Two weeks going strong!
3 – Jane is Back! Jane the Virgin always has a super long winter hiatus and I’m always so glad when it comes back.
4 – MCMQG. Even though I’m not quilting much these days, I get so much out of the monthly guild meetings. Looking forward to another year with my quilty friends!
5 – Will Work for Smiles. Kisses, raspberries, tickles, funny voices, crossed eyes… I’ll do just about anything to get a smile. No shame in my game!
LOVE that adorable baby Amelia!!!
