Happy Friday! Once again, High Five for Friday features five highlights of the week, my way of focusing on the little things that remind me to stay grateful.
1 – New car! We traded in our 2014 Honda Accord and drove away in almost exactly the same car… same color, same model… but brand new! What can I say, I like what I like 🙂 And when I hit 22.2 miles on 2/22 of course I had to take a pic.
2 – Long Weekend. It was so nice to have a low-key long weekend as a family, for fun stuff like walking to the neighborhood park, and cross-it-off-the-list stuff like trading in the car.
3 – Firsts. Solid food, swinging on the playground, finding her feet, rolling from stomach to front… the firsts just keep piling up around here, and it’s so much fun to witness.
4 – Sewjo. Sometimes I need structure to get my creative juices flowing again, and the Round Robin quilts that we started at guild were just the ticket! It’s been a while since I’ve felt excited to be in the sewing room again, and it’s a good feeling.
5 – Tweaking. Now that I’m spending more time at home, I’ve been looking around at how we use our space with new eyes and tweaking a few things. I moved my laptop to the office and got a new chair so I have a dedicated blogging space, and now I actually use this room!
Awesome! Love high 5 !!!
