Happy Friday! Once again, High Five for Friday features five highlights of the week, my way of focusing on the little things that remind me to stay grateful.
– The First Day of Spring. I couldn’t resist bringing a picnic blanket out to the backyard when the sun came out in full force on the first day of spring.
– Thumbprint Necklace. When I visited my parents in January, we took Amelia to a local jewelry studio to have her three-month-old thumbprint imprinted for a necklace, along with her initial and birthstone. On our recent visit, I got to open it up as an early Mother’s Day present and I lovelovelove it so much!
– Apple Cider. My BFF is selling Lipsense so of course I had to give into the fad and get a starter kit. I love the Apple Cider color she helped me pick out and it truly does last all day long!
– Round Robin. I got the first round of Marcia’s round robin quilt and her color choices are gorgeous! It was a (fun) challenge to get started on my round this week.
– WIP. I dug up this old x stitch WIP and I’m determined to get it finished… the last time I worked on it was August 2015! I think I was having problems with the needle, but I switched it out for a new one and it’s good to go now. Onward!
