High Five for Friday

Happy Friday!

Every week I share Five highlights from my week as a reminder to stay grateful for the big and small moments. This week has been extra fun because I’ve been visiting my parents with Amelia, so I chose five favorite memories from our visit.

1 – Uncle Brock. It’s always a good time hanging out with my brother, and even more fun to see him be the “Funcle.” We even snuck away to see a movie one rainy afternoon (Logan Lucky is so good!).

2 – Eat, Drink, and Be Merry. As usual, my mama outdid herself with the homemade meals and cappuccinos all week long… yum!! (I always resolve to meal plan and cook every night after a week at home, so we’ll see how long that lasts…)

3 – Neighborhood. My parents’ neighborhood is great for daily walks and has the perfect kid-friendly pool with no steps, a shallow end, and a fountain. Amelia loved it!

4 – Stitch Therapy. I always love visiting quilt shops, and Stitch Therapy did not disappoint. All their adorable smocked children’s clothing samples makes me want to start making baby clothes pronto!

5 – Family Friends. We made a few social calls this week to visit friends that feel like family. Always a treat!
