It seems like most people have skipped right over Thanksgiving this year and straight into decking the halls. But even if you’re waiting for the first weekend of December like I am, Thanksgiving (& Black Friday!) is right around the corner. So if you’re starting to think about holiday shopping, here’s your friendly reminder to shop local! Supporting small businesses is just as convenient as loading up your virtual shopping cart on Amazon, I promise!
One of the most exciting parts of launching Lady Katie Stitchery is that you can also find my needle minders at a local retail shop! If you’re close to the Nashville, TN area, you should head over to Craft South because they have an amazing selection of fabric, sewing machines, needlework supplies, gifts made by local crafters… and my needle minders!
I’ve been a fan of Anna Maria Horner’s fabric designs for as long as I’ve been a quilter, and I pinched myself when I found out she would be opening Craft South shortly after I moved to TN. I’m so excited that my needle minders are available for sale there, right on the front table as you enter. All the needle minders are made from Anna Maria Horner’s fabrics, exclusively for Craft South.
And with the holidays coming up, a needle minder would be the perfect stocking stuffer for the hand crafter in your life… hint, hint! (And if you’re not local, of course you can check out my Etsy shop too!)
