I’ve been procrastinating on starting a new endeavor… so of course I decided to do anything and everything this weekend except the one thing I should be doing instead.
Let me count the ways I have procrastinated…
We went to the farmers market for iced coffee and donuts (& peaches)…
I caught up on some guild projects, including blocks for a Fidget Quilt Swap and a Fat Quarter Challenge…
When the toddler could no longer be entertained by her father or her oodles of toys, she hung out by my side with the iPad as her babysitter…
And after way too many “Finger Family” renditions, we spent some time outside with a big empty box and pots of (washable!) paint… quickly followed by a bath…
And after bedtime, I got in some stitching time on the porch while the sun was setting…
I may not have made progress on what I “should have” been doing, but it’s hard to compete with a weekend like this one.
Love the quilt squares, and the box idea….love that toddler!
