Another weekly peek at my current works in progress.
Face Masks
My quilt guild is helping to organize the efforts to sew face masks for local healthcare needs, so after picking up donations of fabric and elastic, I spent the weekend prepping. It felt frustrating because I wasn’t making much progress and kept getting interrupted, but the prep work paid off and I’ve finally started finishing the first batch that will be going to a local pediatrician and nursing homes. It makes me so sad that our healthcare workers are in this predicament but I’m doing what I can to help. I’m using my friends pattern, which included a channel for a pipe cleaner/twist tie to tighten around the nose area, expandable pleats, and a pocket for a filter. The pattern is free from Tiny Orchard Quilts and her YouTube tutorial is super helpful!

Love Sweet Love
I haven’t had much downtime lately, but in the few moments that I do, I’ve been working on this cross stitch pattern from Ingleside Imaginarium.

That’s all for now!
