About Me

I’m The Amateur Librarian!

I’m fresh out of college, fresh into marriage & transitioning from my first job as an Elementary Librarian into my new life in San Francisco!  This blog is all about the thoughts in my head, the books on my shelf, and the crafts in my hands!

For more on why I consider myself an Amateur Librarian,  read this post!

Below, a short picture timeline of the past few years:

  1. Wow! Awesome blog !!!!

  2. Great blog! I took your poll. I’m the oldest person who has taken your poll so far.

  3. Love the blog – and I just had to give you my “Liebster Award” today – couldn’t help it the way you’ve inspired me! I hope you don’t mind: http://www.casadelhansen.com/2011/09/award.html

  4. Hey,
I’ve noticed you post a lot of great content about your life and interests within the Bay Area. It’s great to see people sharing their passions and engaging with their community. I’m working for a new start-up called HeyLets and we’re trying to get people excited about doing what you do. We want our users to rediscover their city through mini-recommendations from people with similar interests and hopefully pay it forward. I was wondering, would you be interested in sharing some of your positive experiences in your community with us? We’d love to hear what you have to say and help you promote your blog.
Drop me a line if you’re interested in more info: adam@heylets.com
Thanks for your time and keep up the good work!

  5. Hi, I don’t know if you do awards, but I have nominated you for The Liebster award. http://xarglebook.wordpress.com/2013/05/15/an-award-wow/ Don’t feel you have to pass it on, but just to say I like your blog.
